I kept trying to tighten it, but it just kept collapsing when I put my feet on it. It was too expensive to have to try to figure out an adjustment, so I returned it.

I would recommend the Adirondack chairs with the ottoman

These Adirondack chairs are so easy to put together and make a huge difference! I would highly recommend the chairs with the ottoman built in that slide back into the chair, but these are great too and easy to collapse the legs for storage.
